500 Peso Outfit

Someone asked me to create an entire look with just 500 pesos and this is what I came up with. It wasn't easy. The shoe, for one, were hard to haggle for. I ended up paying 250 pesos for the pair. Luckily, I found a jacket for 50 pesos and a pretty floral dress for 100 pesos. I think it's a pretty decent outfit for only 400 pesos. What do you think?

Denim Blues

There's just something about a denim that makes it both classic and trendy at the same time. It comes in a variety of forms these days and the most popular ones are the buttondown and the highwaisted shorts. These pieces can be quite pricey since they're in demand. Luckily, I scored the top and shorts at a local thrift store thereby managing to save a whole lot of cash.

The aztec fringed sling bag is another thrift find. I got it for 300php and found a similar one in the mall selling at 899php! I saved 599 pesos. That fact made me love this bag even more than I did.

What I'm Wearing
embroidered denim buttondown - thrifted
white crop top - Ferosh Manila
highwaisted denim shorts - Bongo
bangles - Forever 21
fringe sling bag - thrifted

Aztec Witch

Roughly a month has passed since the end of my first school year. In a few months, I'll be stepping into another one and graduating at the end of it. But lets not think about the future yet. There's quite a bit on my plate this summer: the rebirth of my online shop, the death of a loved one's love one, and the stark absence of a thesis topic.

Despite the lack of productivity, I've given myself another few weeks off from figuring out what I want my paper to be about. Only because I can't be bothered to think about school while on vacation. The destination: Palawan. The only thing I'm concerned about right now is what I'm going to pack.

Summer is all about whites, pastels, and florals but in this outfit I decided to stick with my favorite color of them all - black. While this dark hue may not be very summer-y, I tried my best with a hat and aztec print. Think this could pass off as a beach outfit? I think it would.

What I'm Wearing
hat - thrifted
chiffon buttondown & inner top - bazaar
aztec skirt - market
combat boots - Zara
fork bracelet - Nepal
studded bracelet - Thailand
necklace - Forever21
